...

Wow.  It really has been a longggggggg time since I've even visited this blog.

Stuff that's happened since then?  The major one: I had my scoliosis surgery!!

On October 17th of this year, I'll be 2 years post-op!  My lumbar curve went from 62 degrees to 17 degrees, and my thoracic curve went from 28 to 13.  I'm really grateful to be able to have had this surgery.  I live with chronic pain now, but I think having the operation has really helped me grow as a person.

I've also been diagnosed with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, have any of you heard of it?  It's a joint condition that's affected me since I was young ,but we never knew what it was until recently.

As always, if you have any questions about my surgery feel free to ask!  I'd be happy to help~

  2. Hey there. My name's Mikaela. :) I have scoliosis and hypermobility too!

I have a scoliosis blog, which you can read here if you like:

The reason I'm writing is because I recently got inspired to create this survey about scoliosis and bras. I was wondering if you'd be open to posting it on your blog for your readers to fill out? Or send to your scoliosis network... Or even just to fill it out yourself? It would be a big help to me. I'm currently trying to figure out what I can do for work, since I can no longer sit or stand for long periods of time (due to my spine and related conditions). I have a business idea related to this survey that I want to try to pursue. I really appreciate it.

    Here's the survey:

Thanks very much for your time!

  3. I have long felt a special connection with herbal medicine. First, it's natural, Charlie attended the same small college in Southern California - Claremont Men's College - although he dropped out of school to enroll in the Julliard School of Performing Arts in New York. York. Had he been to Claremont, he would have been senior the year I started there; I often thought that was the reason he was gone when he discovered that I had herpes. So, my life was lonely, all day, I could not stand the pain of the outbreak, and then Tasha introduced me to Dr. Itua who uses her herbal medicines to cure her two weeks of consumption. I place an order for him and he hands it to my post office, then I pick it up and use it for two weeks. All my wound is completely healed no more epidemic. I tell you honestly that this man is a great man, I trust him Herbal medicine so much that I share this to show my gratitude and also to let sick people know that there is hope with Dr. Itua.
